The railway wagon (1) has an upwardly open container (2), and a chassis frame (3) supported by wheels (4) on the track rails (5). In place of a floor surface, a delivery device (6) is installed in the container which has a discharge conveyor (8) projecting over the front end of the chassis frame. The conveyor is pivotable around a vertical axis (9) laterally, and is connected to a drive (10). The section of the delivery device positioned along the wagon floor has its own drive arrangement (11). On the underside of the chassis (3) is a diesel engine (12) which supplies energy to the two drives. USE - As a constituent wagon of a complete train of like vehicles for the conveyance and delivery of bulk materials, such as track maintenance ballast, road making gravel, etc.. |
