PURPOSE:To prolong the service life of a filter cloth and also to use inexpensive filter cloths, to stably travel the filter cloth and to facilitate its replacement by making both the sides of the endless filter cloth circulating on a fixed track unrestricted and adjusting the tension of the filter cloth by a tension adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:A filter cloth is made unrestricted, being merely put on each roll and drum. A 1st sensor 118 is installed near a guide roll. When the filter cloth meanders, the sensor 118 outputs a detection signal, which is fed to a controller 182. Then the controller 182 exercises switching control between solenoid valves 91 and 115. When the piston rod of a 2nd cylinder is contracted by a prescribed amount, a meandering adjustment roll is rotated around a vertical pin to return the meandering filter cloth to a normal traveling path. Thus, the filter cloth travels without any slidable contact, and there are no wearing, etc., and wrinkle are not occurred. |
