PURPOSE:To allow an end cover that blocks the opening of a door panel to be easily mounted on the bracket of an automobile door handle device. CONSTITUTION:In an automobile door handle device, a lug receiving portion 13 having a connection 15 located perpendicular to the cover main body 12 of an end cover 3 and a receiving surface 16 connected to the connection 15 and formed perpendicular to and a certain distance away from the cover main body 12, has a tongue piece portion 17 formed almost parallel to the receiving surface 16 and integrally with the connection 15, and a through hole 18 for passing a stud bolt 4 is formed in the tongue piece portion 17. A hinge portion 19 that easily bends the tongue piece portion 17 is provided between the tongue piece portion 17 and the connection 15. After the stud bolt 4 of the bracket 1 is passed through the through hole 18 of the tongue piece portion 17 with the tongue piece portion 17 being bent about the hinge portion 19, the lug 11 is located on the lug receiving portion 13, so the end cover 3 is easily attached to the bracket 1. |
