摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve high temp. oxidation resistance, creep resistance and high temp. strength by infiltrating specified molybdenum aluminosilicide into a porous SiC preform contg. B, C and Al. CONSTITUTION:A binder is added to fine SiC powder contg. <=10wt.% B, C and Al and having <=10Xm average particle diameter if necessary and the powder is compacted or compacted and calcined to form a porous SiC preform made of a compact or a calcined compact having 10-50vol.% voids. Molybdenum aluminosilicide represented by the formula Mo(AlxSi1-x)2 (where 0.1<x<0.5) or a mixture of metal powders giving the compsn. is put as an infiltrating material on the porous SiC preform and the infiltrating material is infiltrated by heating to the m.p. or above in inert gas such as gaseous Ar. |
