PURPOSE:To provide a door lock system having a safety mechanism by which a locking lever restrained in a lock position is released even if a restraint drive mechanism fails. CONSTITUTION:A cam walk portion 87b is provided for disengaging a locking lever 66 from a restraining lever 84 by permitting the restraining lever 84 to be rotated from a restraining position G to an unrestraining position H by rotation of the locking lever 66 from a lock position F to an unlock position E. A nut member 83 linked to the restraining never an and a screw shaft 82 linked to a motor 81 are engaged with each other so that torque can be transmitted from the screw shaft 82 to the nut member 83 and from the nut member 83 to the screw shaft 82.
