发明名称 PRODUCTION OF ANILINES
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To produce an aniline at a low temperature in high yield by reacting a phenol with an aminating agent using niobium supported with a compound oxide as a catalyst, to hardly cause decomposition of ammonia and to suppress formation of a resinous substance as a by-product. CONSTITUTION:A phenol (especially preferably phenol) is reacted with an aminating agent (especially preferably ammonia) to produce an aniline. A catalyst prepared by making niobium supported with a compound oxide is used as the catalyst in the reaction. Niobium to be used is a niobium compound, preferably niobium oxide (e.g. niobium oxide on the market). The compound oxide to support niobium is a compound oxide comprising two or more selected from metal oxides such as silica, alumina, titania and zirconia. Titania-zirconia is preferable and weight ratio of zirconia to titania is 0.8-1.1. The reaction is preferably a vapor phase reaction in order to obtain an aniline in high yield and in high selectivity.</p>
