The invention relates to an adjustable, locking hinge device for a press installation having a levelled press plate 6. Around the hinge 7 of the press installation there have been arranged at least three hydraulic cylinders 9, against which the press plate 6 with the hinge of the press installation have been arranged to rest. The one end of each hydraulic cylinder 9 has been fastened levelled to the press plate 6 and the other end to a structure which is in rigid connection with the opposite support surface in relation to the press plate 6 in the hinge 7 of the press installation. Each hydraulic cylinder 9 is provided with a flow control valve 10 for hydraulic liquid. <IMAGE>
