PURPOSE:To automatically execute composting to ferment raw materials. CONSTITUTION:A fermentation tank drum 4 has an outer peripheral wall 6 made of a wire net. The raw materials l charged from a charge port 3 disposed at one end of this drum 4 are automatically sent up to a discharge port 5 disposed at the other end by rotating a guide band 7. Air is sent into the raw materials from blow-off holes 11 of an air feed pipe 10 installed at the central axis of the drum 4, by which fermentation is executed under an aerobic condition.
