PURPOSE:To improve safety by providing a control means, which outputs a speed change command to shift the shift lever to a low speed side when a key switch is turned on, in a transmission. CONSTITUTION:A program to output a command interlocking with the operation of a key switch 57 is written in a controller 35 as well as an automatic speed change program for a main transmission. Only immediately after the turning on of the key switch, a command is outputted to excite a solenoid 37 for the first speed position of the main transmission from the controller 35, and the first speed position is selected. For this reason, since whatever speed position a sub-transmission is engaged in, the main transmission has been switched to a lower speed side position, a car body will not start at a high speed. After that, when a switch 16 for acceleration or a switch 17 for deceleration is operated, the main transmission is shifted in the range from the first speed position to the fourth sped position, and four step speed changing in the range from an H speed position to an LL speed position by the sub-transmission is also possible. |
