<p>A woven material for use in a papermaking machine, has at least three layers of wefts (1, 2, 3) bonded by a band of warps (2), with the wefts (2) of the centre layer bonded into the material by the same warp system as for the upper (1) and lower (3) layers of wefts. The wefts of at least the centre layer (2) are virtually stretched in the woven structure, and the centre (2) wefts at least are of a material with a thermal shrinkage of at least 10% at 180 degrees C. <IMAGE></p> |
