PURPOSE:To provide a transfer sheet which can be commonly used for an ink jet recording sheet and an electrophotographic transfer sheet and has excellent preservability. CONSTITUTION:A transfer sheet comprises size pressing liquid which contains neutral rosin sizing agent as inner sizing agent and in which aluminum polyvalent metal compound is added as size fixing agent, and polyacrylamide resin aqueous solution having a molecular weight of 100,000 or more and 0.01-0.15 pt.wt. of alkali salt are mixed as surface sizing agent, wherein a ratio (liquid absorption coefficient) of a liquid absorption amount of the liquid to the sheet weighing is 0.47 or more, and a cup sizing degree is 13 + or - 3g/m<2>. Further, the sheet has 6.9-9.0 of chilled water extraction of pH of the sheet. Thus, ink jet suitability having less bronzing of a printed part, toner fixing properties, feeding properties, and electrophotographic suitability of excellent curl can be provided, and excellent preservability is obtained. |
