PURPOSE: To suppress adhesive trend of dye receptor by adding a specified a polyoxyalkylene-modified dimethylsiloxane graft copolymer to a dye image receiving layer or an overcoat layer provided on one side of a support. CONSTITUTION: In order to obtain a print from video screen, a thermal dye transfer dye receiving element containing a support having a dye image receiving layer on one side face thereof is employed in a thermal transfer system. The dye image receiving layer or an overcoat layer thereof contains a dye receiving element comprising a polyoxyalkylene-modified dimethylsiloxane graft copolymer shown by formula I. In the formula, M is represented by formula II wherein R is an alkyl gtoup of 1-4C, X is 0-10, Y is 0.5-2, a is 0-100, b is 0-100, and a+b is larger than 42. According to the composition, adhesive trend of dye receptor with respect to the dye donor is reduced. |
