PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer sheet capable of forming an arbitrary image on an extremely general sheet. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer sheet 1 consisting of a sheet like base material 2 and the thermal transfer layer 3 formed on the single surface of the sheet like base material 2, the thermal transfer layer 3 is constituted of the colorant layer 5 containing a sublimable dye formed on the surface of the sheet like base material and a fixing material layer 6 covering the colorant layer 5 and formed from a synthetic resin generating the fixing reaction with the sublimable dye. |
