PURPOSE:To obtain the oiling agent, containing a specific component and capable of improving the yarn manufacturing properties in a high-speed spinning process for synthetic fibers by regulating the viscosity characteristics of an aqueous emulsion within a specific range. CONSTITUTION:This oiling agent for synthetic fibers contains (A) a fatty acid ester (preferred example: isooctyl palmitate or isooctyl stearate) with (B) an acid phosphate having a 10-30C alkyl group, (C) an alkylene oxide adduct of an organic amine having a 12-30C alkyl group, e.g. an EO adduct and/or a PO adduct of laurylamine or stearylamine, (D) polyhydric alcohols and/or hydroxycarboxylic acids (preferably lactic acid, etc.) and (E) other surfactants (e.g. a nonionic and an anionic surfactants). The resultant oiling agent has <=20cSt viscosity of a 40wt.% aqueous emulsion at 25 deg.C. The resultant oiling agent is capable of manifesting excellent yarn manufacturing characteristics of a polyester or a nylon in a high-speed spinning step and useful especially as a spinning oiling agent at >=5000m/min winding speed. |
