<p>To prevent restarting marks the cloth is moved forwardly during loom stoppage so that, e.g. broken wefts may be removed without the reed contacting the fell. In Fig. 2 (not shown) the cloth 17 passes over rollers 22, 18 and 19 and does not contact a roller 25 that is pivoted about 22 and is in the position indicated by dotted lines. Upon loom stoppage a handle 26 is moved to the full line position causing the roller 25 to move between the rollers 22, 27 causing deflection of the cloth which moves the fell forwardly.</p> |
