PURPOSE:To prevent the incorrect installation of a rod holder connecting device and change the installation state without changing the shape of an operating member. CONSTITUTION:A stage part 15 formed from an opened port part 16 having a large diameter and an opened port part 17 having a small diameter is installed at a through hole 12b of a handle bar 12. An engagement part having the slightly larger diameter than the opened port part 17 having the small diameter of the handle bar 12 is formed at one end of the shaft part of a holder 14, and a flange part having the larger diameter than the opened port part 16 having the large diameter of the handle bar 12 is formed at the other end of the shaft part of the holder 14. The length of the shaft part of the holder 14 is nearly equal to the width of the opened port part 17 having the small diameter or the width of the handle bar 12. When the holder 14 is inerted into the through hole 12b of the handle bar 12 from the correct direction, the holder 14 can be surely installed on the handle bar 12, while if the holder 14 is installed on the handle bar 12 from the incorrect direction, the engagement part of the holder 14 is not engaged with the handle bar 12, and freely fitted into the through hole 12b of the handle bar 12. |
