PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of a culture solution, miniaturize an apparatus and improve the growth of a plant by using an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer containing bubbles as a culture medium and efficiently carrying out the hydroponic culture of the plant. CONSTITUTION:This method for hydroponic culture is to use an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer containing bubbles having, e.g. 0.05-2mm average diameter such as PVA, polyacrylamide, sodium polyacrylate or polyethylene oxide (at preferably 0.001-0.1% concentration) as a culture medium and carry out the hydroponic culture of the plant such as a vegetable. Furthermore, the aqueous solution of the water-soluble polymer containing the bubbles is preferably used as a culture solution for the hydroponic culture. |
