PURPOSE:To uniform the performance of a power steering device by detecting the respective pressures being applied to a reaction hydraulic chamber and a control valve respectively, and by carrying out the feedback control of a variable throttle valve on the basis of these detection signals. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid variable throttle valve 15 arranged in a piping communicating a reaction hydraulic chamber 13 with the inlet port 12a of a control valve 12 is subjected to feedback control by a steering computer 20 on the basis of the detection signals sent from pressure sensors 21, 22. Thereby, even if there is any dispersion in the constituent parts, an expected hydraulic characteristic or an expected relationship between the assist hydraulic pressure being applied to the inlet port 12a of the control valve 12 and so being applied to a power cylinder 18 and the reaction hydraulic pressure being applied to the reaction hydraulic chamber 13 can be obtained, and the performance of a power steering device can be uniformized. |
