PURPOSE:To provide an exhaust device of an elevator for an automobile by which malfunction of an automobile position detector due to exhaust gas of an automobile is prevented so as to prevent a useless sudden stop of the elevator in the elevator for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:In an elevator cab 1 for an automobile, a gas detector 1 for detecting exhaust gas of an automobile and generating output and a fan 12 which is controlled to start and stop according to the output of the gas detector and adapted to discharge the exhaust gas of an automobile 5 to the outside of the elevator cab 1 are disposed in addition to a light source for generating a pair of beams and an photoelectric safety device 7 formed by a pair of photo sensors for receiving the beams of the light source and generating the output, whereby it is possible to prevent malfunction of a position detector of the automobile 5 due to exhaust gas. |
