PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing an electronic module which shows significant production flexibility by both module manufacturer and card manufacturer, with regard to the manufacture of a data carrier card incorporating the electronic module. CONSTITUTION: A module band having an electronic module which is neutral to card manufacturing technology in a following step, is manufactured in steps 1-N, and in a final step, the electronic module is punched out of the module band to be separated in a form adapted to the card manufacturing technology. Further, the electronic module is fabricated for the adaption by window opening, pleasting and the like. |
