<p>PURPOSE:To provide a small and inexpensive paper sheet conveyor capable of processing an overload at the time of jamming without separately providing a slide clutch. CONSTITUTION:This paper sheet conveyor is provided with a sheet convey roller 10 arranged along a sheet conveyance path and feeding the sheets being conveyed and a manual knob 18 connected to the sheet convey roller 10 and manually removing a jammed sheet when the conveyed sheet is jammed. The coupling section A of the manual knob 18 connected to the sheet convey roller 10 is provided with an overload torque avoiding mechanism 23 formed at its free end with one end section for avoiding the coupled state when the overload torque of the fixed torque or above to discharge the sheet in case of a jam is applied to the coupling section A and for slip-running the manual knob 18. Excessive cramming of sheets is prevented when a jam occurs, and breakage of parts is prevented.</p> |
