<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the vertical stack on a tray by moving trays to a coil of second pitch to extend the intervals of adjacent trays and facilitate the advancement of paper slips, and accepting the paper slips in order by the trays to minimize the intervals of the other trays. CONSTITUTION:A coil 30 is wound at a first pitch, and also wound at least one turn at a second wider pitch 50. Also a tray lift block 190 is moved along the coil 30 so as to move the leading edge of a tray 150 in vertical direction. Then all trays 150 are transported to positions where paper slips 10 from a copying machine or similar devices are accepted. These trays 150 keep normal narrow intervals 240 when they are moved in lower or upper direction so far as the block 190 is engaged with the coil 30 of a first pitch. When it is engaged with the coil 30 of the second pitch 50, wider interval 250 is formed. The wider interval 250 forms a extended interval which accepts the paper slips 10 easily into the tray 150.</p> |
