<p>PURPOSE:To provide a treating method of a metal-containing waste water extremely efficient in separation of the metal in the metal-containing waste water containing various metals other than ferric iron, low in water content of a produced sludge and easy in treatment of sludge. CONSTITUTION:In this treating method in which the metal-containing waste water in which the ferric ion and other heavy metallic ion are allowed to coexist is adjusted to pH 3-5.5 by adding alkali to the first reaction vessel and adjusted to pH 6.5-8.3 by adding the alkali to the second reaction vessel, and a produced metal hydroxide is flocculated by adding a polymer flocculant to a flocculation vessel, then the metal hydroxide is precipitated and separated, a part of the sludge settled and separated at a precipitation vessel is taken out and the sludge is added and mixed to the first reaction vessel and the second reaction vessel.</p> |
