<p>PURPOSE: To utilize a large amount of waste grain husks for producing various kinds of containers and to reduce the necessity of wood pulp by a method wherein the grain husks are powdered and mixed with edible glue, a paste material is formed therefrom after being exposed to vapor, a belt-like body is formed after being stretched by rollers, and the belt-like body is formed into a container with press applied by a molding die and drying applied afterward. CONSTITUTION: Grain husks are put into a crush mill 21 and crushed until they become powdery 22. Then, the powder 22 in 97% of volume is mixed with an edible powder such as carboxymethylcellulose in 3% of volume and exposed to vapor at 200 deg.C for 30 minutes and thereby a paste material 31 is formed. Then, the paste material 31 is made to pass through rollers 32 having a space in between, and the paste material is stretched by the rollers to become a belt-like body 220. The belt-like body 220 is thrust into a mold for concaved container by appropriate molding dies 41, 42, 43 with a pressing force approximately at 120 kg/cm<2> . A molded container 60 is guided onto a conveyer 52 and dried with a heater 51 at 60 deg.C-80 deg.C to become a finished product. Thereby, waste grain husks can be utilized effectively, and the amount of use can be reduced for wood pulp.</p> |
