<p>PURPOSE:To provide a thermal head that helps simplify a drive circuit and improve print quality. CONSTITUTION:A drive circuit 10 has shift resistors SR1 to SR64 to convert print data DI consisting of serial data and output at a rate of predetermined bits by transferring synchronously with a clock signal CLK from outside, and is comprised of an integrating circuit 15, gate devices G1 to G64 which close and open shift resistors SR1 to SR64 by a strobe signal STB outputted from the integrating circuit 15, and multiple switching devices T1 to T64 that control electric currents flowing in multiple heating resistors connected to terminals H1 to H64.</p> |
