PURPOSE:To easily produce a plastic lens having a coating layer without performing annealing for removing optical strain while smoothing the surface unevenness of a polymer released after casting polymerization a short time without requiring excessive washing. CONSTITUTION:A plastic lens producing method contains a process polymerizing a plastic lens raw material monomer in a casting mold to obtain a polymer, a process immersing the obtained polymer in a liquid held to temp. in the vicinity of the glass transition point of the polymer and a process forming a part or whole of the smooth surface of the polymer by thermal curing. |
