PURPOSE:To reuse the next sheet as it is after a jam is recovered even if the next sheet already starts to be fed when the preceding sheet causes a jam. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet does not reach the prescribed position in a prescribed period, a jam is judged to occur, and a jam error process is implemented. If the feeding action of the next sheet is started in step g7 when the jammed sheet is removed, the operation of a resist clutch is judged. If the next sheet can be reused, the sheet feed timing flag is set in step g10, and the stand-by operation is started. If the sheet feed timing change flag is set, the sheet feed timing is changed in response to the position of the next sheet already being fed. If the content of the travel position of the next sheet is 01h, a sheet feed clutch is turned on. If the content of the data is 02h, the travel position data are added with 1, and the copy head protruding process is implemented otherwise. |
