PURPOSE:To reliably set a net insert in a movable type without dislocating it by suspending and inserting a lower end part of the net insert in a clearance created between the movable type and a retreat time slide core, releasing a grip of the insert after it is pressed and sandwiched by them, and setting the net insert in the movable type. CONSTITUTION:An upper end part of a net insert 18 is gripped and suspended by an insert carrying member 54 having a carrying clamp 34, and is carried up to a setting position of a movable type 26. In this condition, a lower end part of the net insert 18, that is, a remaining part 18a is suspended and inserted in a clearance created between the movable type 26 and a retreat time slide core 32. Next, the slide core 32 is advanced, and the remaining part 18a of the net insert 18 is pressed to and sandwiched by the movable type 26 by the slide core 32, and the carrying clamp 34 is released, and the net insert 18 is set by locking a setting pin in a product cavity 30 of the movable type 26. Thereby, the net insert 18 can be reliably set without dislocating it. |
