<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the brake noise and brake vibration of a disc brake. CONSTITUTION:A support spring 70 is interposed between one side end of a pad 40 and the inner side face side of the cutout of a torque member so as to press the pad 40 to the opposite inner side face side of the torque member, thus preventing the rattling of the pad 40. The support spring 70 is formed by jointing a frtmeal plate 71 with a high thermal expansion coefficient to the inside of a second metal plate 72 with a low thermal expansion coefficient, and the spring force of the spring 70 is increased according to the temperature rise. At the non-braking time, the energizing force of the pad 40 by the support spring 70 is kept small, so that the rotor attacking performance of the pad 40 is low, and the partial wear quantity of a disc rotor 21 is reduced. At the braking time, the spring force of the support spring 70 is increased by temperature rise, and the vibration of the pad 40 is strongly regulated so as to reduce the generation rte of brake noise increased in association with the temperature rise of the pad 40.</p> |
