PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent cleansing agent having frothing function in addition to cleansing function and giving a refreshed feeling in the cleansing of bare skin by combining a polyoxyethylene diester with a specific alkyl glycoside. CONSTITUTION:This cleansing agent is produced by combining a polyoxyethylene diester of formula I (R1 is a saturated or unsaturated higher aliphatic hydrocarbon group; (n) is 6-16) with an alkyl glycoside of formula II ((a) is 1-15; (b) is 7-19). The polyoxyethylene diester of formula I is especially preferably polyoxyethylene diisostearate or polyoxyethylene dioleate. The cleansing agent gives excellent feeling after and during use and exhibits high cleansing effect. It has a function to cleanly remove make-up cosmetics such as rouge, foundation, mascara and eye shadow and can be frothed by the addition of water. |
