PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts items, to ease putting in/out action of an oil gauge, and to lower the position of a driver's seat by providing a gauge tube, which holds the oil gauge, in such a manner that it goes through a transmission case and forming a breather hole in the midst of the guide tube. CONSTITUTION:A gauge guide tube 15, which an oil gauge 14 can freely be inserted in and extracted from and which can hold the gauge 14, is arranged in such a manner that it communicates with the inside of a transmission case 1 and moreover it extends out of the transmission case 1. In addition, a breather hole 16 is made in such a position as being the midst of the gauge guide tube 15 and moreover being out of the transmission case 1. With this, the rise of internal pressure of the transmission case 1 caused by the rise of a room temperature within the case 1 can be relieved, or breather function can be fulfiled by conducting air bleeding via the gauge guide 15, or from the breather hole made in the midst of the gauge guide 15. Meanwhile, measurement of the quantity of the oil can be carried out by putting the oil gauge 14 into/out of the tube 15. The action of putting in/out of the gauge 14 can be carried out precisely and easily owing to the gauge guide tube 15.
