PURPOSE:To provide an ultrasonic motor in which a large driving force and a large driving speed can be taken out without increasing the voltage applied. CONSTITUTION:In an ultrasonic motor, an elastic body 11 and first piezoelectric elements 12-1, 13-1 which are bonded to either of the face of the elastic body 11 and which harmoniously generate a longitudinal-vibration mode and a bend vibration mode in the elastic body 11 are contained. The ultrasonic motor is provided with second piezoelectric elements 22-2, 13-2 which are bonded to the face other than the face to which the first piezoelectric elements 12-1, 13-1 of the elastic body 11 are bonded. |
