PURPOSE:To make a binder resin and inorg. components uniform on a molecular level, to impart flexibility to the binder resin, to incorporate a large amt. of the low-reflectance inorg. component in a coating composition and to allow an optical film to have sufficient strength. CONSTITUTION:A polymer contg. hydroxyl at the end group and/or a part of the side chain is allowed to react with one or >=2 kinds of halogenated organosilicon compds. expressed by the formula (where X is one, two or three kinds selected from halogen atom, such as Cl and Br, halogenderivatives of 1-6C alkyls, halogen derivatives of 1-4C alkoxyls, halogen derivatives of aryls and hologen derivatives of alkenyls, R<1> is one, two or three kinds selected from 1-6C alkyls and 1-4C alkoxyls, aryls or alkenyls, and (j) is an integer of 1 to 3), hydrolyzed and condensed. |
