The invention comprises alkenyl sulphonyl isocyanates of the formula wherein R 1-3 represent hydrogen, halogen or alkyl groups or R 1 and R 3 or R 2 and R 3 are linked to form a carbocyclic ring and a process for the preparation thereof comprising reacting a 2-chloroalkyl sulphonyl isocyanate of the formula with a tertiary amine, preferably at 10-80‹ C. in the presence of an inert solvent using equimolar proportions of reactants. Specified coinpounds are vinyl-, propen-1-yl, n-hexen-1-yl-, 1 - methyl - propen - 1 - yl-, 4,4 - dichlorobuten- 1-yl-, 3-chloropropen-1-yl-, 2-chlorovinyl- and cyclohexen-1-yl sulphonyl isocyanates. |
