METHOD FOR REPLACING GAS AGITATION APPARATUS FOR MOLTEN METAL FURNACE

PURPOSE:To facilitate exchange of a gas blow-in nozzle of a molten metal furnace such as an electric furnace and ensure construction in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A gas blow-in nozzle 2 is mounted on a furnace bottom of a molten metal furnace, and a sleeve brick 4 is mounted on an outer periphery of the gas blow-in nozzle 2. Peripheries between the gas blow-in nozzle 2, the sleeve brick 4, and an outer squared brick are filled with powdered refractories. A cylindrical raplacing jig 3 located along the outer periphery sleeve brick 4 is removably mounted on a lifting bottom board 6 for mounting and lifting the gas blow-in nozzle 2 and the outer periphery sleeve brick 4, and hereby replacement of the gas blow-in nozzle 2 on a furnace bottom part is facilitated.
