PURPOSE: To watch an information pattern and to enable retrieval of detailed information. CONSTITUTION: A processor accesses source data items corresponding to cell areas inside an nD data array concerning respective cell areas 26 inside a table image 10, obtains the cell display type of cell display type data items shown by the source data values of source data items and these source data items and generates image definition data for defining a graphical display object 30, sized suitably for displaying the table image inside the cell area. The graphical display object 30 contains 1st display characteristics determined by the cell display type and 2nd display characteristics determined by the source data value. The processor respectively displays the table image 10 in a display area 180 of a display and displays the graphical display objects 30 in the respective cell areas 26 of the table image 10.
