PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of preventing the electric charge quantity of toner in a developing device from being increased and continue effective development stable in density accompanied by no fog in an image forming device for developing an electrostatic latent image carried by a latent image carrier such as a photosensitive drum by the use of toner. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is constituted of a latent image carrier 10 for carrying an electrostatic latent image on its surface, a toner transfer unit 130 arranged in a developing unit 13 so as to carry toner for developing the latent image carried by the carrier 10 to the surface of the carrier 10 and toner recovery body 135 formed by a material whose surface level density is <=10<9>eV<-1>cm<-2> to recover toner remaining on the surface of the transfer unit 130 without being transferred from the transfer unit 130 to the carrier 10 to the developing unit 13 and supply the toner in the developing unit 13 to the carrier 130. |
