PURPOSE:To provide the image generation device which generates a texture and colored illuminance mapping process image by effectively utilizing a memory. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an image generation part 102 which generates pixel data including a 1st mapping address and a 2nd mapping address on the basis of the shape and attribute data and photographic conditions of a given three-dimensional geometrical shape model, a 1st mapping memory part 106 which outputs 1st pixel data on the basis of the 1st mapping address, a 2nd mapping memory part 107 which has the same output data with with the 1st mapping memory part 106 and outputs 2nd pixel data on the basis of the 2nd mapping address, and an image composition part 114 which composes output pixel data of the 1st pixel data and 2nd pixel data; and texture data width and illuminance data width are equalized to each other. |
