PURPOSE:To provide a scintillation camera capable of automatically judging radiation nuclide. CONSTITUTION:The data collecting control part 2 of a scintillation camera has a radiation nuclide automatic judging part 8, the energy spectrum of the radiation nuclide detected by a detector 1 is collected by the judging part 8, prior to data collection, to determine the peak value, and it is compared with the preliminarily stored peak value of the energy spectrum every radiation nuclide to specify the radiation nuclide. Since the setting of the radiation nuclide is not required, the reduction in quality of a reconstructed image resulted from the erroneous setting of the radiation nuclide can be prevented.
