<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a data processor from being read/written from/to an uninitialized area by grasping the uninitialized area in a memory and simultaneously initializing the area even at the time of initializing a specific area in the memory. CONSTITUTION:The processor is provided in respective areas with an area format information area where information indicating if the area is initialized or not is set, by dividing the storage area of a flash memory card 5 into the plural areas corresponding to uses. Then, at the time of receiving data transmitted from a host computer 7 through a communication interface 8, CPU 1 analyzes the piece of reception data and when it is the command requiring initialization, CPU 1 judges whether or not the area specification of format is the whole area. Then, even when the area specification of format is not the whole area, CPU 1 confirms the initializing state of the area other than the specified area so as to simultaneously execute initialization when there is the uninitialized area.</p> |
