PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to make an image forming device inexpensive and miniatiurize as to the image forming device using a beltlike image carrier and a transfer roller at the transfer part of an image. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is provided with the flexible beltlike image carrier 2 and at least a driving roller 9 and driven rollers 8, 12 and 13 in order to spread the carrier 2. Besides, the transfer roller 5 is disposed on the more downstream side of the traveling direction of the carrier 2 than the roller 9. Then, the roller 5 is abutted on the carrier 2 by a spring member 11 and used as the tension imparting member of the carrier 2. By also using the roller 5 as the tension imparting member of the carrier 2, the tension imparting member being the spread means of the carrier 2 need not be provided in addition. As the result, the number of parts of the image forming device is reduced and the device is made inexpensive and miniaturized. |
