<p>PURPOSE:To precisely detect a rotational angle by providing a pulse signal generating means, a reset pulse generating means, an oscillation circuit and a counting means and computing a rotational angle, which is the detection objective, based on the count value of the counting means. CONSTITUTION:When a rotational angle detection rotating plate 1 rotates, a sensor 3 detects magnets 2, pulse signals are outputted with a period corresponding to the rotational speed of the plate 1 to a frequency divider 1 through an amplifier 4. The divider 1 frequency-divides the signals into 1/8 and outputs to an edge detecting circuit 12. The circuit 12 generates a counter reset pulse for every revolution of the plate 1. This pulse is supplied to a counter 14. The counter 14 counts the pulse signals outputted from an oscillation circuit 13 and the counter 14 outputs digital data with a resolution corresponding to the number of bits produced during one revolution of the plate 1. Based on this value, the rotational angle of the plate 1 is accurately obtained.</p> |
