摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To sufficiently cope with the change of the detection levels of the tool force and inclination, etc., of a pen at the time of an operation by measuring vibration transmission time from a vibration source based on signals outputted by a detection means during the period of gate signals from a gate signal generation means and calculating the position coordinates of the vibration source based on the vibration transmission time. CONSTITUTION:The output signals of a vibration sensor 6a are detected at a vibration transmission plate 8 and arrival timing signals outputted at a first threshold value level and the arrival timing signals outputted at a second threshold value level set at a level higher than the first threshold value level are compared based on the detection signals in a signal waveform detection circuit 9. The part for the larger threshold value of the signals is defined as the gate signal, the vibration transmission time from a vibration pen 3 is measured by an arithmetic and control circuit 1 during the signal period and the position coordinates for the vibration pen 3 are calculated based on the measurement. Thus, the change of the detection levels of the tool force and inclination, etc., of the pen at the time of the operation can be sufficiently coped with.</p>
