PURPOSE:To easily reuse a toner by separating a two-component developer to be recovered in a toner and a carrier in the case of its recovery from a two-component developing device including the developer. CONSTITUTION:A developer separating means A1 is constituted of a carrier recovering sleeve 41, a magnet and a bias power supply. At the time of recovering carrier, a carrier recovering sleeve 41 is rotated in the counterclockwise direction, and a developer is guided to a carrier recovering tank aperture part m3 through a gap (a). At the time, bias electric charge having counter polarity against the toner is impressed to the sleeve 41 and the carrier is separated from the toner. When magnetic force disappears on the aperture part m3, only the carrier is separated from the sleeve 41 and entered into a carrier recovery tank 42. Toner on the sleeve 41 receiving the bias charge with the counter polarity against the toner is scraped by a fur brush 43 rotationally driven on a toner recovering position P. |
