PURPOSE:To enable non-contact power supply to a low voltage load resistor from a high voltage power supply that generates high-frequency alternating current by connecting a constant-current inverter to the high-voltage power supply; the output of the inverter to the primary circuit of a transformer; and the low voltage load resistor to the secondary circuit of the transformer through an input line. CONSTITUTION:Electric power generated on a high-voltage generator 12 is rectified into a high DC voltage, which is then converted into constant-output high-frequency current on a constant-current inverter 14 and is outputted from an output line 14a. The current induces an electromotive force, e.g., 12V across an input line 16a constituting the secondary circuit of a transformer, thereby supplying power from the high-voltage generator 12 in non-contact state. This eliminates a need for connectors and simplifies wiring, facilitating safety design. |
