PURPOSE:To provide an inverter in which a current can be supplied from a rectifier circuit even when the instantaneous value of a rectified output voltage is considerably low by a method wherein an inductor for oscillation is formed as a series circuit which is constituted of a first inductor and a second inductor and a rectified output terminal for the rectifier circuit is connected to their connecting point. CONSTITUTION:An inductor LO, for oscillation, for an oscillation circuit LC which contains the inductor LO for oscillation and a capacitor Co for oscillation is formed as a series circuit which is composed of a first inductor L1 and a second inductor L2. Then, the rectified output voltage of a rectifier circuit DO is applied to a smoothing capacitor CL via a diode D6, and it is applied to the connecting point P of the first inductor L1 to the second inductor L2 via a diode D7. Thereby, the continuity phase of the rectifier circuit DO or an AC power supply V is made wide even when a smoothing capacitor 1 with a sifficiently large capacitance is used so as to increase the smoothing degree, and the power factor of the inverter apparatus can be increased. |
