PURPOSE:To provide a terminal inserter which can smoothly and surely insert a terminal fitted with a cable into a connector housing. CONSTITUTION:This terminal inserter is composed of terminal guide arms 3 and 3', which guide a terminal 4 fitted with a cable to a connector housing 15, and cable holding hands 6 and 6', which push in the terminal 4 fitted with a cable, and terminal guide chamfered faces 2 are made large at the rears of the terminal guide arms 3 and 3', and each cable holding hand 6 is provided with a projection 5 for holding a cable, which can penetrate into the terminal guide chamfered face 2. Moreover, the length of projection 5 is smaller than the depth of the terminal guide chamfered face 2, and besides the width of the projection 5 is set smaller than the width of the terminal guide chamfered face 2. |
