PURPOSE:To provide the IC card which is adapted to production of a small quantity and many kinds and secures a high security. CONSTITUTION:An IC card 10 incorporates three kinds or memories RAM 13, ROM 14, and EEPROM 15 and a CPU 12 which has a function to access these memories, and the load routine which not only loads program codes given from the outside to an area beginning with a prescribed address in the EEPROM 15 but also writes the address value indicating this prescribed address in ALF of the EEPROM, the jump routine which jumps the execution object of the CPU 12 to the address destination indicated by ALF, and the discrimination routine are stored in the ROM 14. The discrimination routine discriminates whether the address value is written in ALF or not when a reset instruction is given from the outside, and this routine is branched to the load routine if the address value is not written in ALF, but it is branched to the jump routine if the address value is written in ALF. |
