PURPOSE:To form a high-grade toner image in a toner image forming section and to nearly perfectly transfer and fix the toner to a transfer material and to simultaneously destaticize an image carrying member without allowing the toner to remain on a recording sheet in a transferring and fixing section. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is constituted by providing the device with the recording sheet (image carrying member) 10 which is provided with a photoconductive layer, a toner image forming means which forms the toner image by sticking the toner T by electrical attraction force onto the recording sheet 10, a destaticizing lamp 55 which destaticizes the recording sheet 10, a surface heating element (heating means) 60 which heats the recording sheet 10 and a press roller 70 which presses the transfer material P to the recording sheet 10. The toner images are formed on the recording sheet 10 by the toner image forming means and thereafter the electrical attraction force between the toner images and the recording sheet 10 is weakened by the destaticizing lamp 55 and the toner images are transferred and fixed to the transfer material P by the surface heating element 60 and the press roller 70. |
