PURPOSE:To improve the long-time reliability of an electrode device so that the device is stably operated for long period of 20 years or longer. CONSTITUTION:Many electrode cases 10 comprise a molded body of a hard resin or rubber. In the electrode case 10, an electrode housing part 10a is formed inside, and a through hole 18 and cable inserting holes 20 are provided on the wall surface. A sintered body electrode 12 is arranged in the electrode housing part. A multicore insulated cable 14 having a tension member has a line core 42, which is coated with a waterproof insulating film and connected to each electrode. A cable storing part 10b is formed in the electrode case. It is preferable to contain the cable in the loosened state. As the sintered body electrode, the plate-shaped carbon electrode is used. A cable storing case is arranged at the halfway of the cable for connecting the electrodes, and the cable is contained in the loosened state. The constitution wherein the external cable is protected with a flexible protecting tube is preferable. |
